Steven Hufnagel's letter to DRA Trail Tamers is available below, and also here as pdf for download and printing.
Dear Trail Tamers,
Trail maintenance and construction season is happily upon us at last. I hope you will be able to take part in some of the following events. This is the base schedule. As additional needs arise, I will work with Preserve Stewards to organize more workdays. Please let me know if you prefer some other day of the week and I can set up some work parties to address these additional needs on alternative days.
Unless otherwise specified, Trail Tamers meet from 9 to noon on the third Thursday of the month (May to October) plus two Second Tuesdays and one Saturday. Call 563-1393 or write to steven@draclt.org for more information. Bring water bottle, work gloves, bug repellent – wear long pants and solid boots – head and eye protection as required. Loppers and bow saws are often useful. So that we can be prepared for the right numbers, please let me know a day or two ahead if you can take part in a given event.
