The Jason Spooner Trio: The Jason Spooner Trio's unique blend
of roots, blues, funk and folk has earned them accolades across the country
and skyrocketing popularity: catch them while you can!

The Jason Spooner Trio brings together the talents of Jason Spooner on lead
vocals and guitar, Adam Frederick on bass and vocals and Reed Chambers on
drums for a multi award-winning sound that "navigates between folk, jazz,
pop, funk, and R&B - sometimes, in the course of a single song." Winner of
the International finals of the 2007 Mountain Stage NewSong contest held in
New York City, honored as a national finalist in the 2007 Starbucks Music
Makers competition in Boston, and member of the Falcon Ridge "Most Wanted" Preview Tour, Spooner is a rising star of the independent music scene.
According to the Portland Press Herald, "Spooner's voice is fresh, authentic
and distinct. Combined with the story-telling narration of some of the songs
and the gorgeous melodies of others, Spooner hits the mark every time."

Inner Visions:. Roots reggae masters from St.
John, USVI, back at the DRA by popular demand for their 4th year, shake it
up with their electrifying vibe, infectious rhythms, and tight vocal
harmonies.

Inner Visions is a reggae band from St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, said by some to be the Virgin Island’s best kept secret. The band has played together for over 25 years, though they have only been touring the U.S. since 2001. The original members are Phillip “Grasshopper” Pickering on guitar and lead vocals, Paul “Ras Paul” Samms on percussion and lead vocals, and Alvin “Jupiter” Pickering on bass, drum programs, and vocals. The band has recently been joined by Grasshopper’s two sons: Akiba “Mr. Snooze” Pickering on keyboards and Aswad “Hollywood” Pickering on drums. Their reviews describe true musical communi-cation and infectious energy! While being influenced by some of the top names of reggae, they have combined these elements with new ideas, and in their own words they have a “mystical mix of young and old” and a “three-part harmony that will soothe the savage beast in anyone.”
The Horseshoe Crabs combine, in their own words, “healthy portions of crunchy rock and roll, raggedy-ass-blue-jean Americana, sweaty blues” . . .
and more.
They do not lecture on the life of the crustacean; rather The Crabs are a trio of musicians who have a lot of fun playing an eclectic mix of rock and roll. It is made up of Brian Robbins on guitar, mandolin, vocals and harmonica, Paul Sherman on bass, and Peter Jackson on pedal steel guitar. Not really a Garage Band, The Crabs are more of a Barn Band with some seasonal Living Room sprinkled in there as well. Drawing from an unpredictable array of influences, the most obvious thing about The Crabs is the fun they have playing together. Dylan, Stones, Clapton, the Grateful Dead, Steve Earle, Buddy Holly, Neil Young, Peter Wolf and Van Morrison are just a few of the inspirations that make The Horseshoe Crabs smile and bounce.
