Jr. Naturalist After-School Program
What do snow fleas eat?
Where do flying squirrels hide?
Students will make observations in nature to answer questions based on the months’ theme. This self-guided discovery and hands-on learning in an outdoor environment leads to a strong connection to the natural world.
Nature drawing and journaling is an encouraged component of these programs. The program will culminate in a family evening where the participants can share their discoveries.
When: 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm every Thursday and Friday, month-long sessions
Cost: $30.00/non-members, $25.00/members. Scholarships are available.
Food: Snacks provided
Busses: Available from Nobleboro Central and Great Salt Bay schools
